Official Release Timeline

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore is scheduled to release the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 admit cards on November 4, 2026. Aspirants who have successfully registered for the prestigious management entrance examination will be able to access and download their official hall tickets directly from the designated admission portal.

Once issued, candidates must log in using their unique registered user ID and secure password to retrieve the document. Editorial guidelines advise all applicants to thoroughly verify the details printed on the hall ticket and carefully review all exam-day instructions to prevent any operational discrepancies at the test centers.

Examination Structure and Timings

The nationwide entrance test is officially slated for November 29, 2026, and will be administered across three distinct time slots to manage candidate volume effectively:

* Slot 1 (Morning): 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM * Slot 2 (Afternoon): 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM * Slot 3 (Evening): 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

The computer-based examination will run for a total duration of 120 minutes. The assessment framework comprises three core sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).

The evaluation scheme awards three positive marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect multiple-choice question. Unanswered or unattempted questions will neither attract positive marks nor penalties.
