Actor Tiger Shroff Expresses Shock Following Mumbai Assassination Bid As Police Track Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Link
Actor Tiger Shroff remains in deep shock after an assassination attempt on his vehicle in Mumbai, as police trace suspects linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai Attack Shakes Bollywood
Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff has broken his silence following a brazen assassination attempt on his vehicle in Mumbai's upscale Juhu neighborhood. The 36-year-old actor, who escaped unhurt during the October 18 incident, told investigators that he harbors no personal enmity and remains baffled by the life-threatening attack.
According to details gathered by Daily News 365, the incident occurred at approximately 7 PM as Shroff was returning home from a football match. Two armed assailants on a motorcycle intercepted his BMW, opening fire with at least five to six rounds. While Shroff was seated in the front passenger seat and avoided injury, his driver and an accompanying vlogger sustained injuries. Demonstrating composure under fire, Shroff took control of the vehicle and drove his wounded driver to safety.
Investigation and Interstate Arrests
Law enforcement agencies moved swiftly following the shooting. The Mumbai Police Crime Branch identified the shooters as 18-year-old Phool Singh and 18-year-old Rehan Rahisuddin Ansari, both hailing from Haryana. A third accomplice, 22-year-old Hritik Kumar alias Roshan from Bihar, allegedly assisted them in fleeing the scene.
Investigators revealed that the suspects attempted a meticulously planned escape. After abandoning their motorcycle in Andheri, the trio traveled to Surat, Gujarat, with the intention of boarding a bus to Delhi and subsequently crossing the border into Nepal. However, after missing their scheduled bus, an alleged mastermind identified as Anil Pandit—reportedly operating under the banner of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—activated a backup plan via VoIP communications.
The suspects subsequently boarded the Pune-Jaipur Express from Surat railway station. Quick-footed coordination between multiple state police forces led to the apprehension of the accused individuals in Kota, Rajasthan, just a day after the shooting.
Firearms and Jammed Pistol
Forensic examinations of the weapons recovered during the sweep revealed crucial details about the execution of the crime. Investigators found that a Turkish-made Zigana pistol used by Rehan jammed mid-attack, causing two live cartridges to eject without firing. Concurrently, Phool Singh allegedly used a country-made firearm, commonly referred to as a 'desi katta', to discharge rounds at the vehicle.
Prior to boarding the train in Surat, the accused hid the firearms and remaining ammunition in an open area near the city's bus terminal to evade security checks during their rail transit. Mumbai Police continue to probe the wider conspiracy behind the attack, examining potential extortion angles and deeper syndicate connections.
