Cutting-Edge Aircraft and Precision Formations
The skies above Varanasi played host to an array of advanced fighter jets, indigenous platforms, and specialized helicopter formations. According to Air Force officials, the showcase featured the formidable Sukhoi-30 MKI, alongside homegrown defense assets such as the Tejas fighter aircraft and the Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) Prachand.
Adding to the visual splendor, three Kiran aircraft soared in a striking 'V' formation, trailing the colors of the national flag. Meanwhile, Mi-17 helicopters carried the tricolour aloft while executing the intricate Omkar formation.
The renowned Surya Kiran aerobatic team demonstrated precision flying and tightly coordinated maneuvers, closely followed by the Sarang helicopter display team, which enthralled spectators with daring aerial stunts.
